It is not an option. Look at Gethsemane (your, overwhelming trouble, disappointment, betrayal, rejection, missed opportunity, isolation, loss, grief, guilt, regret) the Cross (your prolonged pain) and the Resurrection (your liberation, disarming of the past, power, re-engagement with the future, triumph). These are Triplets that reveal the heart of God towards mankind and in some sense the pace and pattern of life. The ability to progress from Gethsemane to the Resurrection is supplied when we accept that God loves us, and we express simple, childlike, faith in Him. He calls us to nothing that He has not already experienced, vetted and approved with our good in mind.

It was just a month ago I reflected on Gethsemane, The cross and the resurrection and had a similar insight and was truly blessed. Your post have confirmed so much within my spirit and i really need to start putting my thoughts on paper and sharing more.
