VITAL WOMEN LOSING VITALITY. Father I had a conversation very recently that just caused me to tank a bit in my Spirit [BUT YOU GOD] and has left me burdened. It was another woman who had lost her vitality. This was another woman reeling from the backhand of rejection from spouse of many years and his inclusion of unwelcome third parties; rejection from child of her womb; rejection in her professional life. Rejection which has sucked her out, left her exposed, and unsupported by those to whom she feels and desires the most closeness. Rejection which has left her limp, and is causing her to rubbish her education, rubbish her accomplishments, and rubbish her previous triumphs in hard times.
Rejection which has deeply eroded her belief in herself, eroded her ability to use the many things she has in her favour to re-create a good life for herself. The good life that she knows she deserves and desperately wants…and needs. She can’t see beyond the mountain of her pain. She can’t see beyond the sources of her pain. She has no energy to cry out for help. She has no energy to ‘turn herself in’ for care by others who love her, want the best for her, and see more clearly than she does now. She has no energy to keep focussed on any one thing. Except….she keeps trying to make it work. Make it work at home. Make it work at work.
She can’t step away. She can’t pronounce the time of death although she cannot tell when last she saw signs of life. She is just watching herself being nibbled alive by incident after incident. Can’t duck from the blows of disrespect and disappointment. Can’t duck. Can’t step-aside. Just trying to make it work. An otherwise educated, mature, accomplished woman, an attractive woman, a witty, intellectually stimulating woman, an enjoyable woman, raised to be proud and self-sufficient and loving, and responsible. Who once had a strident voice and could ‘kick butt’ if needed. Resigning herself to an offer of…nothing.
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask you to give all vital women who are losing their vitality, immediate redemption from this destruction; give them beauty for ashes; the oil of joy for mourning; the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; help them to raise their shield of faith by which to extinguish all the fiery darts of the enemy of our soul. Speak to their soul of your love for them. Speak to them of how you created them in your image; that you make no mistake and that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by your mighty hand. Rescue all vital women who are losing their vitality from that evil pit of depression, self-sabotage, self-loathing, twisted thinking, anger, hatred, and bitterness.
Restore their soul. Give them love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, humility and self-control. Remove the scales from their eyes that they may see things as they are. Settle their emotions and grant peace to their soul. Grant them wisdom so they can deftly make the decisions that they…must…make…to regain control over their lives and circumstances. Restore their faith in you and in themselves and in their capacity to live again, live differently, live joyously, and live better than ever before.
Remind them that with you no day can be a life sentence. Remind them of your promise never to leave them nor forsake them. Show them your ID through scripture that you have never lost a fight. You know how to keep your own. Your specialty is restoring dead things and giving new life and that if they continue to trust in you…your guarantee is “The best is yet to come.”
Father grant that vital women who are losing their vitality may believe…and see the salvation of the Lord as He makes all things in them and in their dire circumstances..new.
